Tree Growth Tax Law Plan
PLEASE READ: This is a streamlined process. This is a simple plan that meets the minimum requirements of Tree Growth Tax Law. Currently, Forest GEEK is prioritizing getting as many plans into the hands of people in an underserved part of the state. The intake form should provide all the information needed to complete a Tree Growth Plan for you.
This does price does NOT include the following services:
An onsite meeting or woods walk with the landowner.
Extensive email or phone communications
Logging contracts
Finding a logger
Boundary Line flagging or GPS (Generally Tax Maps will be used for a Tree Growth Map)
Filing with you assessor.
It DOES include:
Revisions for incorrect information
Activities to regenerate, improve and harvest a standing crop of timber.
The location of water bodies and wildlife habitat identified by the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife.
Schedules and recommendations for timber stand improvement, harvesting plans and recommendations for regeneration activities.
A Map of Timber Types, and depicting the information above.
A filled out application, with the Signature of a licensed forester (Kyle) for you to submit to your assessor.
A signature may be refused is evidence suggests that the landowner is not following forest management plan recommendations and or has no intention of ever harvesting forest products.
By purchasing a plan you consent to a site visit that will fit our schedule. You will receive notice before a site visit occurs. Usually multiple lots will be visited in one day.
You also acknowledge you have read and understand bulletin 19. and understand that Forest Products are the primary use of the enrolled portions of the property, and building in areas not planed for building could come with serious financial consequences.
If you require additional services, you will need to request a custom quote or to hourly billing.
